As Mirantis readied to launch in the UK, they appointed Context to raise awareness of OpenStack as a solution in this emerging market, as well as position it as the leading player in the field.


The Solution

Context developed a comprehensive media relations strategy, to drive awareness of Mirantis and their OpenStack offering, targeted at the UK cloud and IT trade press.

Context aimed to establish Mirantis as an established voice in the market through the implementation of thought leadership articles and expert commentary on key industry trends and news.

The thought leadership articles were designed to educate and inform the market about the technical and business benefits of the technology and provide useful, informative tips and
guides to help businesses start their OpenStack journey.


The Results

Over the course of the year-long campaign Context generated a healthy pipeline of coverage for Mirantis and its solutions across a range of IT, cloud and business publications.

Context significantly raised the profile of Mirantis – with the company placing in the top three OpenStack vendors when assessed for global share of voice across key media titles, and being named the top cloud story of the year by Computer Weekly.
