Tunstall has been a Context client for a number of years, during which time the healthcare landscape has changed significantly.
Tunstall first approached Context in 2002, to introduce the concepts of telehealth and telecare to wider network of stakeholders through media relations. Tunstall wanted to communicate their message to service users, carers, social workers, GPs and the government, campaigning for the use of connected care technologies.
Over the last 15 years the remit has evolved to focus on consistency and stability in the media. Context’s role is to ensure that Tunstall remains the leading authority on connected health and care, contributing to conversations on current issues such as the challenges of an aging population.
Context implemented a multifaceted strategy for Tunstall, focusing on building credibility in relevant media through a mixture of relevant case studies, reports, original research and thought leadership bylined articles, coordinating with GPs and local government officials to promote the benefits of telecare and telehealth.
A comprehensive blog and social media programme mirrored Context’s external efforts on the organisation’s website, and for every new product or innovation brought to market, Context creates a launch press release and media strategy.
As part of the programme, Context also works closely with Tunstall’s external partners including local councils, charities and government think tanks.
Context has generated coverage for Tunstall across both specialist and national broadsheet press including the Guardian, Telegraph and Daily Mail. As a result, Context has established Tunstall as a credible source of information relating to connected health and care, secured coverage for thought leadership and news announcements to improve overall visibility and engagement on social media.
