Founded in 2003, Kirona is a leading provider of field service management solutions. They appointed Context in July 2017 to develop and deliver a comprehensive content marketing and media relations campaign, building on their status as a trusted partner for private and publicly-managed organisations.
The Challenge
Kirona was looking to grow by leveraging its strong presence in the housing sector in other key areas, including healthcare, retail, construction and utilities. They chose Context to develop and deliver a comprehensive content marketing and media relation campaign, creating high value content including case studies and thought leadership articles to position the company as a subject matter expert.
The Strategy
One of Context’s core values is to become an extension of the marketing team, which was quickly established with Kirona. As part of the content marketing strategy, Context took on responsibility for liaising with customers on a one-to-one basis, working with Kirona to establish suitable user cases and managing the whole process direct from the source; from briefing call to finished article.
Context also developed a series of news releases and thought leadership articles, drawing on the company’s expertise and examples of best practice to establish a share of voice in the target markets.
The Results
Context delivered over 24 customer reference stories over an 18-month period, and secured coverage in a range of technology and trade-specific titles including Retail Systems, Information Age, IT Pro Portal, Network Magazine and Housing Technology as a result of an extensive media relations campaign.
